Ive been experiencing constant burn sensation on my mouth. It affects my tongue,lips?

Female 58yrs.for the last 3months Ive been experiencing constant burn sensation on my mouth. It affects my tongue,lips. Only stop when I sleep. I have bed prescribed an anti fungal. Anti viral. Liryca. Nothing seams to work. I also tried increasing vitamin b. Now I will try alpha lipoid acid. Waiting to see a mouth specialist. Also when I get up I have an oily waxy film in my mouth. It goes away with a Sinutab. I am on blood pressure pills. Been on it for yrs. I take a imovane to help me sleep i been on it for years. No new meds lately. Please help it really affects my daily life. My mood and my taste buds.

This is burning mouth syndrome, causes can be hypothyroidism or vitamins deficiency , my opinion the cause is dry mouth due to salivary glands problem .
Did you have cancer treatment at any point?

Burning tongue/mouth syndrome is a condition in which there is burning sensation inside mouth and can also be associated with a scalded feeling and can also experience numbing sensation.. It can occur due to a number of causes like nutritional deficiency of iron and vitamin B12, dry mouth or xerostomia, stress, acid reflux, side effects of medicines etc.. This could be zinc deficiency, multivitamins supplement is gonna be great, try to consult your pCP
