I feel a slight fluttering on my lower left side, pregnancy test all negative, please advise?

I am 52 years old and stop having my period a year ago. But for the last 2 weeks I’ve felt that butterfly feeling you get when you first feel a baby kick. If I look hard enough I can sometimes see a jump in my stomach Its off and on most days especially at night. I’ve had 2 children and swear it feels exactly the same. I’ve taken 3 home pregnancy test and all were negative. The slight fluttering is on my lower left side just above the bikini line and below the belly button. What could this be? I’m also on Adderal and I saw online that can cause false negative results. Also about 2 months ago I did have some slight bloody discharge for a few days but not a real period. Went to a clinic to be check for Std. Which was negative.

Age: 52
Female
Medications: Adderal

Hi..
Well it looks like you have reached Menopause already and chances of pregnancy are negligible..
So the symptoms are not appearing to be due to it..
You should get an Abdominal and pelvic Ultrasound done first to rule out the cause of the symptoms..
After an ultrasound and a clinical examination only further investigation and diagnosis can be confirmed..

Hi
Many normal things like food ,stool can cause sensations and sounds from the abdomen.Since you had vaginal bleeding some time back it’s best to get evaluated in form of ultrasonography abdomen and pelvis and may be Pap smear too.Any history of constipation or loose stools very often.Inflammatory bowel disease is another possibility. Get back with more information. Best luck!

Hi,
In my opinion you should better see a gynaecologist to get an US done, since your period is not there for 1 year, then you can not conceive , also in pregnancy you can not fee the movement of the foetus before your abdomen becomes visibly pregnant , however i need to know if your fluttering sensation is linked to any type of food and what is your caffeine intake?
