I fractured my spine now have vision problems?

Im 24 female i have a history of depression i take hydrocodone because i fractured my spine. My vision seems to be skipping. Say for example if you did a 360 with a camera around the room it would skip or kinda like when ur watching a movie and the cd is scratched so it skips scenes. When this happens it throws me off from what im doin its scary and i kinda have to stop for a few seconds to regroup its only skips for about 3 or 5 seconds bt as i get older it happens more frequently and it scared me

First of all hydrocodone can cause your vision problem after long term use
You should stop it and see if it improves ,if not then i recommend spatial contrast sensitivity, slit-lamp and standard Snellen eye chart tests done by an ophthalmologist

Good luck

By the way your problem is related to your eye muscles not your eye it self
Do not get worried

For me I think you need to go for a visual field testing as these symptoms can not be neglected …Brain CT or MRI is important.

hi
there might have been some internal injury to the eye when you had the trauma to spine.
get a retinoscopy examination done from a opthalmologist.
thanks

HI
RETINAL OR POSTERIOR CHAMBER OF EYE SEEMS TO BE AFFECTED.
A OPTHALMOSCOPY EXAMINATION CAN FIND OUT THE EXACT CAUSE.
CONSULT A EYE SPECIALIST

hello there
it may be related to the optic nerve or retinal partial detachment.
get a fundoscopy and retinoscopy done.
may need MRI brain if optic nerve affection is expected.
