I have severe peripheral neuropathy symptoms after HIV exposure?

I am a 32 years old male. I have severe peripheral neuropathy symptoms since 2 months of my hiv exposure. Had a ptotected sex but I am not sure on hiv status of the sex worker or the condom status during sex(broke or any hole).

I am everyday feeling burning pain in feet, extreme body twitching cramps in thighs, tingling in feet leg and hand fingers. Sometimes burning pain in thumb also.

My doctor told it is not hiv but stress but it has never happened before and non ending. I am now 5 months hiv negative by duo test and pcr test. I also did std panel tests twice for hcv, hsv, vdrl, chlymdia and it was negative too.

Please suggest what to do as this problem is affecting my daily activities and even sleep. Is this HIV? How long do I need to do the tests to be 100% sure I do not have hiv?

Lab tests performed:
4th gen duo – 2 month, 3 month and 5 month Pcr dna – 3 month Pcr rna – 4 month

Definitely not HIV..
You are so stressed and anxious.
In my opinion it is mostly peripheral neuropathy due to vitamin deficiency.. Vitamin b1 b6 and b12 as well as vitamin E..
Get vitamin supplementation ..
Neurobion ampoules can help if taken twice weekly..
B12 once weekly.
Gabapentin tablets can relief the numbness and pain..
Tens and physical therapy are good choices if you feel weakness.

Hi , this is not hiv , not even close
I recommend electrolyte tests , urine test
, if they are clear then i recommend spinal tab to check for amylotrophic lateral sclerosis , stress can be considered if you had same symptoms before after sever stress
Take vit b complex supplements till you do your tests
Good Luck

Sir,
U showed -ve HIV within the window peroid.. which shows whether u were infected or nor.. its 2 weeks upto 3 months since the expected exposure

I advice u to have protected sex, and routinely do hiv 4 th gener. Test every 3 month

Regarding your symptoms, u r overstressed with the idea of having hiv
But neurological examination should ve done though, do also Random bl sugar test

hi
relax and be assured that you do not have an HIV.
All the tests done so far have confirmed this.
Vitamin B6 and B12 deficiency can cause this. Get blood tests done.

Vitamin D3 deficiency can also be the reason.

Start on vitamin supplements. Drink plenty of fruit juices with green leafy vegetables, cereals.
Thanks
