I’ve been sick for over a year now not being able to do basic human things?

I’ve been sick for over a year now. I’m 29 female. Symptoms include: low vitamin d, underactive thyroid( normal now took levothyroxine),occasional heart palpitations, pale skin, swollen hands legs abdomen, dizzy spells, orthostatic hypotension patterns with symptoms, lung mucus production with cough, insomnia, constipation, pain in lower back shoulders hips legs. So far I’ve had a tilt table test(negative) heart ultrasound( negative) sleep study( negative) 24 hour urine collection with a cortisol level 4 points above normal. I went from functioning to now not being able to do basic human things like dishes and grocery shopping. So far my doctor just keeps telling me he’s not sure what’s causing all this.

Your symptoms involve multiple systems so I recommend CBC,and kidney function tests,
In my opinion you could be suffering stress induced IBS or an absorption disorder causing your vitamin D deficiency and anemia ,stress can be a factor in some of your problems.
You can get back to this thread after doing those tests so I can follow up with you.

Hi.
In my opinion you have cushing syndrome , I recommend Late-Night Salivary Cortisol test and Low-Dose Dexamethasone Suppression Testing
Good luck

hi,
this is caused by some gross underlying hormonal changes.
Vitamin D supplements, with multivitamine and L-carnitine can help.
Immune boosters to strengthen the immunity will help.
Get serum electrolytes and LFTs checked.
Thanks

Hi

Regarding your question,

We need to correct your cortisol state and follow up the thyroid hormone levels before thinking about other possibilities…

That’s my advice to u ?
