I recommend doing Abdominal ultrasound to make sure that placenta is removed and that there is no injury to internal organs, especially if she is vomiting and not having stool lately, I can not ask you to give her any stronger medication regarding the pain because medications those medications Will cause internal bleeding
Sorry for her pain
Good Luck

Yes, such a severe pain is not normal after a week and needs evaluation..
As with painkillers the pain should have controlled.
An ultrasound can be done to check for placental remnants and traumatic injuries to the sot tissues..
Also please tell that are you observing any bulging or tightness of the abdomen?
Any change in bowel movements?
Any discharge or bleeding from stitches?
Any rise in body temperature?

Please write back..
