Hi, Since you are getting these numbness after waking up in the morning this may indicate that there is a problem with your pillow you sleep on , it should be fitting to your shoulder if you sleep on sides, that it must well fill the space being not too firm neither too soft. Hi
This problem will go away on its own by resuming you daily exercise, I recommend not wearing a neck brace, instead wear a shoulder support (hold shoulder in retraction)
My opinion your surgery was a success
You will improve by time
Good Luck

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Well, the symptoms will gradually get better on its own and it is not very uncommon to see such symptoms..
Neck brace is not as such needed..
You should consult your doctor and discuss so that you can be advised guided physiotherapy with gradually increasing the exercises or load..
It will help..
Also muscle relaxants can be advised..
Lastly keep changing sides while sleeping if you wake up..
Do mild exercises in the morning to alleviate symptoms faster..

Hope this helps..
