I am a 26 year old female who has ADHD and OCD, adderall is causing some problems?

I am a 26 year old female who has ADHD and OCD. I have been prescribed adderall for almost 10 years now and I love it. Over the course of time we have has to up my dosage due to it wearing off too quickly. My current dosage is 30mg BID. Recently I have noticed that my ADHD has really gotten out of hand. I cannot think straight. I am forgetting thoughts mid sentence, starting tasks and getting distracted leaving SO many things unfinished. The list could go on but these things have left me very anxious and chaotic. I need to get back to being able to think about what I need to do and actually be able to do it instead of getting overwhelmed. I don’t want to come off adderall but was wondering if anything could be added with and be taken together? Just trying to get more information before bringing this up to my PCP who does not know a lot about treating ADHD. I don’t have good insurance and my pediatrician was originally the one who put me on adderall. My PCP now just continues to write my prescription because I was already on it when I became her patient and it has worked fine all this time. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you



After being attacked and suffering with a subconjunctival hemorrhage i dont know what to do?

I have suffered with pain behind my left eye for a month now everyday after being attacked and suffering with a subconjunctival hemorrhage.. the blood in my eye has cleared away now but im getting really nasty pains behind my eye and i dont know what to do.. there are no local eye doctors and i do not wish to go to the emergency department at hospital



My blood work showed inflammation. I have Crohn’s disease do I need steroids?

I just got a call from my GI office that my blood work showed inflammation. I have had Crohn’s disease for 12 years. I haven’t had a flare up in 7 years until just recently. I am taking azathioprine and they upped my dose, they also want me to start taking Entocort. I do not want to take Entocort, because I do not want to gain weight but most importantly I do not want a huge face or acne. Can crohns inflammation be healed without a steroid? Thank you

I am a 76 year old woman who is having a medical problem that has not been solved as of yet.
I am diabetic but that is under control , I am type 2 diabetic. I began to loose my appetite and did’t feel like eating therefore I lost about 15 lbs, what is terrible to me is that my face is sunk in plus I have lost muscle tone, I became very weak and fatigued. I ended up in the hospital over the Christmas holidays.Many test were run and the only conclusion they came to is that I had low magnesium which caused my blood sugar to become low . As of my last test showed that it had not come up after few weeks .Yes I have been under stress because of problem my grandson has ad and he lives with me but is 41 years old and had not lived with me until a couple years ago, His Mother died , he lost hi job and couldnt find more work in our little town he came to live with me I had cancer once unidentified but took radition . blood test did not show any cancer markers> I do have small lumps under my skin , legs and arms but the Dr. did not think much about that.
Could these lumps be of any threat to my health ?I am weary about my weight loss for I look sickly in the face mainly.I weight 127 lbs and am 5 “4 inches tall .Do you have any insight as what my condition may be? thank you



I have swelling of the paratoid gland, face is noticeably swollen on the right side?

I have swelling of the paratoid gland, face is noticeably swallon on the right side on the law line right in front of the ear, i am not sick nor have been for month’s, it is painful, cant open mouth to full extent, headaches and what feels like alot of pressure as well

I have had this for 4 days now.

Any ideas what has caused this and how soon i should seek medical help?



I have heavy pain in both side of my head that causes dizziness, sometimes in my back and neck?

I am female and 40 years old and my headache started when i gave birth to my daughter 5 years ago, that time it was only severe headache and I was using relieve tablets to get rid of the pain but every since it got worse, and now the heavy pain is in both side of my head that causes dizziness, sometimes my back and neck i feel vomiting, loud sounds make it worse and it lasts for one day mostly.
i went to doctors , they gave me tablets and told me its nerve disease and its because you get emotional.
it didn’t work even it got worse so i stop using them…please advise what I should do next?



Do I require surgery ?

My CT Scans results are as follows:
There is polypoidal mucosal thickening present within both maxillary sinuses. This is more severe in the right maxillary sinus.
There is associated occlusion of the right OMU.
There is slight attenuation also demonstrated of the left OMU.
A deviated nasal septum is seen to the left hand side.
Thickening is seen of the right middle and inferior nasal turbinates.
Mucosal thickening is also present in the frontal and anterior ethmoid air cells with occlusion noted of the right fronto-ethmoidal recess.
The left fronto-ethmoidal recess is patent.
The sphenoid sinus and the spheno-ethmoidal recesses are patent.
No air fluid levels are visualised.
The visualised bones and orbits are normal.
The posterior nasal space and the oropharynx is normal.
Do I require surgery ?



After giving birth I continue to vomit 5 – 19 minutes after eating?

Hi i’m a 25 year old female. I’m trying to find out why i’m always throwing up 5 to 10 minutes after i eat anything. It all started after i left the hopital after i had my daughter. My head twitches sometimes and my right hand twitches then it feels really light and i constantly drop stuff when using my right hand. My right side of my stomach has a dull pain after i vomit and i have lower back pain sometimes and all of this is sudden.



I have mysterious contracted muscle on left side of back somewhere on rhomboid muscle?

Hello,
I had a hard tissue like contracted muscle on left side of back somewhere on rhomboid muscle, between spine and scapula, its in shaped of Cylinder lying horizontal cc5cm long, thick as marker or fat pencil. It hurts on touch, I have had my left side of rib cage,shoulder and neck in pain, one times it was so painful I couldn’t use left arm. but it decreased as i had lost weight(by diet). There is no pain any more only sensitive lump under skin thats move during massage but also hurt under firm touch.
Pain started two years ago after losing 20kg with training and working long shifts and decreased before one month after losing 8 kg more. Had been at two doctors first didn’t find anything, second found inflamed nerve on scapula don’t remember name of nerve something with first letter T. and couple others disorders of spine. Should I seek third opinion and what are Yours thoughts on mysterious tissue.Thank You.
but nothing for medical treatment.



My boyfriend and I are thalassemia carriers need advice regarding getting pregnant?

Iam a thalassemia carrier and my boyfriend is also a thalassemia carrier.so because of having a 25% chance of a thalassemia major baby we are planning to breakup.but my opinion is after getting pregnant i can do cvs and clarify whether the baby has got thalassemia major or may be a healthy baby.so that cvs will work so or not in this case.please doc give me an advice



I was born with one kidney and tested slightly positive for hsv-2?

I am 39 yeare old male, a little over weight but overall healthy. I was having bad abdominal pain, especially during ejaculating and saw a Dr at a walk in clinic assuming it was a prostate infection as I have had them in the past. As a precaution she ordered std tests and a CT scan to test for diverticulitis. The CT scan came back negative but showed I was born with one kidney. The std tests came back negative for all except herpes. I was pretty sure I have hsv-1 since I’ve had cold sores 1-2× per year for many years but they also said i tested slightly positive for hsv-2 which is very concerning and confusing. I have only had sex once in the past 6 months and it was protected and no oral. The test results were as follows: herpes simplex I/II IGM .9 reference range <.9 Hsv I IgG 38.9 reference range <=.9 Hsv II IgG <.1. Reference range <=.9 HSV 1 IGM antibodies IFA. Detected A HSV 2 IgM antibodies IFA weakly detected I am very confused could you please tell me what it all says? Am I positive for hsv 2?
